Play Dough (Not Food)

Ingredients:
1 package kool-aid any flavor
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons oil

mix dry ingredients.  Add water and oil.  Knead until mixed well.  cool.  Store in airtight container.

Saucepan Brownies

Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
4 oz unsweetened bakers chocolate
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour

Melt butter and chocolate over low heat, stiring occasionally.  Stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla and flour.  Bake in a glass 9×13 cake pan at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

Soft Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup kernels
1 cup butter
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 2 teaspoons vanilla

Put some popped popcorn a clean counter and set aside.  Combine the butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan over medium heat.  Stir occasionally until butter is melted and mixture is smooth.  Increase the heat to medium high and bring to a boil.  once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.  The mixture should turn a dark color.  Remove from heat and add the sweetened condensed milk, slat and vanilla extract.  Stir until smooth.  Poor over the popcorn and stir to evenly coat the popcorn.

Muddy Buddies

Ingredients:
8 cups checks
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.  Then poor the mixture on the checks in a bowl.  Add powdered sugar and use  a spatula to softly mix it.

Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
6 tablespoons unsweetened coacoa powder
6 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla

In a medium bowl wisk together powdered sugar and coacoa powder and set aside.  In a large bowl cream butter until smooth then gradually beat in sugar mixture alternately with milk blend in vanilla.  Beat until light and fluffy.  If necessary adjust consistency with more milk and sugar.

Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 unsweetened coacoa powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons butter softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2/3 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk

Wisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, coacoa and salt.  Then set aside.  In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add the eggs one at a time, beat well with each addition.  Then stir in the vanilla.  Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk.  Beat well.  Fill muffin cups and bake on 350 for 15-17 minutes.

Mom’s Oreo Cookies

Ingredients
2 boxes devils food cake mix
1 1/2 cups shorting
4 eggs
2 tablespoons milk

Cream ingredients.  Roll into balls and bake at 350 for 9 minutes.  Let cool.

Frosting:
1 package cream cheese
3/4 cup butter
powdered sugar

Mix it together and put between cookies.  Best if refrigerated.

No Bake Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup butter
1/3 cup coacoa powder
3 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

first put butter in a pot on the stove to melt.  Once melted add milk sugar and coacoa powder.  Once it boils for a minute add oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla.  Cook it for another 2/5 minutes.  Spoon it out on wax paper and let it cool.
